In my opinion, every insurance agent’s drip campaign should start with the people you already know.

  1. First, create a database on everyone you know, do business with, etc…
  2. Then create client newsletters, emails, and sales letters with well-written content, that pushes them towards a specific goal.
  3. Finally, automate it! Because none of us have a lot of time to send emails, letters, newsletters, etc. So you need to create or use a system that you can plug your info into and it does the rest.

Let People Know How You Are Helping Families

One of my favorite insurance agent marketing pieces and one of the fastest ways to let your family and friends know what you do is through a Heartfelt Letter.  Now, I know you are thinking He is talking about having a project 100! However, you would be dead wrong!

The Heartfelt Letter is NOT a sales letter, beating up everyone you know for an appointment. Unfortunately, many agents beat up their warm market for an appointment. So, they end up alienating their friends, and family and are looked at as the DREADED USED CAR SALESMAN!  And eventually, they become an outcast.
