How To Be A Successful Financial Advisor! You Must Do More Than Just Sell Your Investments!
08/05/2021… I am extremely frustrated by the number of people I see call themselves, financial advisors… when all they really do is sell investments! This is terribly wrong for their clients and themselves!!! Because the client is not getting all the advice and help they expected and need… to make sure they and their families have a secure financial future! And it is wrong for the advisor! Because they are missing out on how they can make their life a lot easier, more rewarding… and earn a much better income! When you really do all you can to help your client... you will gain their trust. And they will be more loyal to you. But the best part is you will be the successful financial advisor… that people will talk about with all their friends and family! Oh and don’t forget you will be making a lot more money!
Note… The more business you have in the home, then the better your client retention will be. So when the market takes a downturn you will not run the risk of losing your client to another advisor.
Your job, if you want to be a successful financial advisor is to review and work with their clients… on all aspects of their finances! There is a lot more to think about, than just how and where your client should invest their money. There is much more to being a successful financial advisor than just selling investments to help your clients to accumulate a lot of money!

Two Problems With Just Selling Investments…
The main problem with an advisor that just sells investments is they tend to put all of their client’s money at risk in the stock market. The only money that should be in the stock market is money that the client can afford to lose! You should make sure that they have all their basic needs covered… Before you have them put any of their money at risk in the market! How can your client be financially secure when all or most of their money is at risk?
The second problem is many advisors will leave most of the client’s money in the market when they retire. And they do not help the client to set a realistic amount they take as an income… Without the risk of them outliving their money!

Decide To Do More Than Just Sell Investments…
Spend and Save… As a financial advisor, if your want to be more successful, you should teach your clients about spending and saving! You both need to be aware of their spending habits. So together, you can craft a plan that is best suited for them. You should help your clients to find money that they spend needlessly in the wrong places. Additionally, you should help your clients to put money away for safe savings. An emergency fund is an important piece of being financially secure.
Invest… As a financial advisor, if your want to be more successful, you should help your client to invest for the future to reach their retirement goals. No one wants to be forced to work their entire lives. Starting to put money away as early as possible is one of the best ways for you to make sure your client’s retirement dreams come true. You should help your clients to put money away in the right places. You should not be using the “one size fits all” method. Help your client to find out what is best for their unique situation and risk tolerance.
Insure… As a financial advisor, if your want to be more successful, you should help your client to get all the life insurance they need now to protect their family… and for when they retire! Life is full of surprises, no one is guaranteed a tomorrow. Insurance is an important piece of your client’s financial puzzle now and in retirement. Your client should have both life and disability insurance to guarantee your client’s family’s financial security. You may also, want to consider the possible need for long-term care insurance.
Plan… As a financial advisor, if your want to be more successful, you should help your client to create a complete financial plan! The first thing you should do when you sit down with your client is to get a full picture of where they are now. And what their goals are for the future. How can you guide your client… if you don’t know what they have or what their goals are?
