We’ve Lost An Industry Icon…

My Dad and IPS Co-Founder
Mr. Lewis Bradford Nason, Jr., age 76,
of Dallas, GA passed away on
Saturday, December 21, 2024
at his residence in Dallas, Georgia.

Most of you knew of Lew the Insurance Sales Coach, but he was also a husband of 56 years, Dad of 3, Grandfather of 10, and Great-Grandfather to 8. He was a great Dad, who was always active in our lives, from taking us to “Company Trips”, Sale Conventions, and Summers at scouting camps, he shaped me and my brother (Will) into the men we are today.  We can only hope to be half the man, father, and husband he was. Although he is gone he will never be forgotten. Now, I don’t have the words to express what all of you meant to Lew, every follower, client, and agent. He built the Insurance Pro Shop to help every agent succeed in the insurance industry. An industry he gave his all to for over 40 years. Lew entered hospice care in February 2024 and continued to still work until November of 2024 when he could no longer physically continue. Over the last 40 years, Lew has written 1000’s of articles, provided coaching and mentoring to 10,000+ agents, while working his 300 plus personal clients.  Lew has changed the lives of tens of thousands of agents and families.  A LEGACY that will be continued through myself and my family!

“What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others.” ~ Pericles

His impact on fellow agents is best captured in their own words…

“I don’t think Jeremy Nason would mind if I shared this, but his father, Lew Nason passed away this morning.

Lew Nason was a wonderful industry coach, teacher, mentor, and friend to many in our industry. Lew and Jeremy started The Insurance Pro Shop, named kind of as a joke, but it really caught on!

I heard about Lew Nason through his articles in the IARFC Register publication and they really ‘rang true’ with me. I got one of their systems and I continue to promote them as the industry training I wish I got my first week in the business.

Lew Nason’s legacy will continue on through the THOUSANDS (and yes, I mean that literally) of agents he taught, coached, and mentored through the years, both directly and indirectly.

He and I never met in person, but he was always available to take a call if I had a question and he always answered in a sweet simplicity (something that I have to work on at times).

Lew will be missed!” ~ David kinder

“I am so sorry for your loss. He was a REAL icon of our industry. His wisdom and ideas will live on, however, so any agent who wishes to have a successful career will have his guidance. Our industry has lost a great man.” ~ Van Mueller

“Sad day Jeremy…you lost your dad, and we lost a legend in our industry. The good news is he’s free and his teachings will continue to help agents and middle Americans for generations to come. Very few can say that about their dad🙏” `~Kevin Murray

“My deepest sympathies to you and your family. We all love Lew. While I never personally met your father, I knew him through the videos.I wish I had met him. However, I have full confidence in Jesus’ words:” I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” Hopefully one day we all get to see Lew again. Again, Jeremy, my deepest sympathies to you and your family.” ~Rodolfo Guerra
He will be laid to rest Saturday, January 4, 2025, surrounded by his family and honored by the Air Force.

He will be greatly missed.
