10/15/2020… It is difficult enough to learn how to sell insurance. But now Covid-19 has made it a lot more difficult for you set sales appointments to sell insurance. But, it does not have to kill your insurance sales. There are a lot of people out there that still need and are looking for your help!

Don’t be afraid to go out and work with people under age 60. These are the people that have a low risk if they do contract Covid-19 (Less than a 0.4% fatality rate). Though, you need to make sure you still take the proper precautions with them, wearing a mask, social distancing, washing your hands, etc.! Those precautions are what will protect you both.

Besides working with people under age 60, who else are the people that you should contact to sell insurance even now with covid-19?

Existing Clients… If you have been selling insurance for a while, then you have a database of clients. They are the people that are more likely to set an insurance sales appointment with you for an annual review. Because they already know and trust you. They also may want your help with their finances because of what is happening out there. So that they can get out of debt, reduce expenses, etc.!

Family and Friends… Your family and friends know, trust, and like you. So they are more likely to want to set an insurance sales appointment with you… if you talk to them about some ideas you have to help them get through these tough times.

Neighbors… Most people prefer to work with someone local! So, send your neighbors a letter to introduce yourself and explain how you are helping the people in the community to get through these difficult times. Then follow up a few days later with a phone and ask them how things are going for them. Ask questions to get them to talk about the problems they have right now. Then offer to help them to solve those problems.

Mortgage Insurance… One of the easiest ways for you to set a sales appointment is to use mortgage insurance as a door opener!
