11/6/2020… Do you sell final expense insurance? What if you knew how to find the money to help more people buy life insurance, annuities, LTC, final expense, mortgage protections, etc? Would you make a lot more money selling final expense insurance?

I was talking to an agent a few days ago about how things are going for him. He told me that he sells final expense insurance and grosses around $250,000 per year. But after he buys the final expense leads and pays for his travel he only earns about $130,000. I told him that he is doing a lot better than most of the agents out there selling final expense insurance.

He told me his wife sets all his sales appointments. This has made it possible for him to see a lot more people to sell more final expense insurance!

His concern is that he works 12 hours per day, 60 hours per week. And he is afraid to take any time to study or make changes. Because he is afraid it will take time away from his meeting with clients. Which will reduce his final expense insurance sales and his income.

By the way, he told me he still meets face-to-face with his clients! He does wear a mask and he does social distancing while in their home.

The reason he does so well today is that he and his wife took the time to learn how to ask better questions. So his wife now sets more and much better final expense insurance sales appointments from his leads. And he now sells final expense insurance to almost everyone that he meets!

Why is he so successful in selling final expense insurance even during this pandemic? It is because his wife is asking the right questions on the phone! So people see that she cares about them, understands them, and wants to help them. Now they trust and like her. And they see that final expense life insurance is important.

He sells final expense insurance to almost everyone that he meets! Because he asks the right questions to show them that he cares about them, understands their situation, and wants to help people. So now they like and trust him. And they want to do business with him!

How Can He Reduce His Hours and Make More Money Selling Final Expense Insurance?

What should he do to make more money selling final expense insurance? He should learn how to find more and larger sales when he is at their home. He needs to help people find the money, so they can get what they need and want right now. (bigger life insurance policies, LTC, annuities, investments, etc.)

When you sell more final expense insurance, LTC, annuities, etc. in the home, then you will NOT need to see as many people! You will NOT need to buy as many final expense leads, which will cut your lead cost! And you will have fewer travel expenses!

However, some do have money… And they have a lot more money than you think they have. But, they are just afraid to tell you. Because if they spend any of that money, they might run out of money!

Learning to ask the right questions, doing a better fact find, and helping people to find the money are how you will make more money selling final expense insurance. It is also how you will find a lot of other sales in the home… plus get referrals!

Consider… If you found one person, out of 10, that had $50,000 or more sitting in CDs, bonds, etc., and you helped them to have a guaranteed income that they can’t outlive. Then how much have you helped them? If you made $3,000 of commissions on that sale, how much better off would you be? What if you found 2, 3, or 4 people, out of 10, that had the money for bigger life insurance policies, LTC, annuities, investments, etc.?
