There are several exciting and dynamic life insurance selling systems available today… That will help you to close large life insurance sales.   1. I love and hate those selling systems. I love them because they keep my competition busy LOOKING for “the right people” to use their system with, while I help more people! 🙂

    What you didn’t mention about your competing selling systems are the system costs itself, the time and cost to learn, and the time to use them.

    I was in a “mutual” agency 11 years ago that was considered a “LEAP agency”. I had heard of the LEAP system before I joined that agency and was intrigued because of the success I had heard.

    However, that system is $3,000 a year! Plus, we had a “National LEAP trainer” come out three different times (at an agent cost of $600 each) to teach us how to use it. And because of the interface, it can easily confuse prospective clients. (I consider it a “fancy light show”.)

    Plus, probably because of abuses of the past, each agent had to get “approval” from their general agent to use it in the first place. I think they only allow it now for agents who have 3+ years of experience?

    The LEAP System taught a 6-meeting approach:
    1) “Personal Finance & Wealth Building” + PS&G Model intro
    2) Fact-Find to gather data for the system
    3) Protection Module
    4) Savings Module
    5) Growth Module
    6) “External Design” to coordinate everything together

    All of these meetings and costs really mean that you should be working with affluent and high net worth prospects to make this entire process worthwhile. I’m in California… and if I had to be locked into that program, I’d be looking for people who had a household income of $250,000 and/or assets of $1 million+ to justify that process. Obviously, that would severely limit the number of people I could work with… but my insistence of using that “system” would be at fault, rather than adjusting my methods.

    It just won’t work for Middle Income Families in a profitable manner (unless you can charge fees for each session, which the agency wouldn’t let you do because LEAP was considered “insurance selling” not investment advice falling under their Corporate RIA approved methods and tools). Considering the time and expertise, I’d probably charge $500 – $1,000 per session. (One independent RIA I know of charges between $300 – $10,000 fees for similar work.)

    The issues may be easier and/or cheaper with Circle of Wealth and Guardian’s Living Balance Sheet… but it’s still expensive and not really profitable to use with middle income families because of all the time involved for each case and time to learn the system.

    With your training methods, I can do it ALL in 1-2 meetings. I don’t need much computerization because *I* am the consultant, not “the model” or “the system”. And I can get immediate feedback and response as I show various concepts. And because it’s simpler and quicker, I can bring these concepts to nearly anyone and everyone.

    Communication is far better flowing and I can understand people far better… than trying to use a system to “fit a square peg in a round hole”… which is what I often think of these “prospect convincing systems”.

    Prospecting is FAR easier when you know that you can work with many more people by your skills… rather than trying to fit people to a complicated system. One guy I know of, says he’d only work with people who have a bachelor’s degree, to help ensure that he can work with people who can understand him. (Funny, I thought our job was to “Seek first to understand, THEN to be understood.”)

    “10x” is a concept that is going around by both Strategic Coach and Grant Cardone. I don’t think it’s possible to “10x” your production without either a) going “up-market” with a “sophisticated process” or b) simplifying your processes to work with more people.

    Your training systems and methods simplifies everything and I recommend it to all agents who are looking to get a better foothold on their careers.
