6/13/2022 – Contrary to what people may tell you, the American Dream is alive and well. You can be anything and do anything you want in your life and insurance sales career. It doesn’t matter in today’s world if you are black, white, red, or yellow – rich or poor! You just need to decide what you want and then go after it. I grew up poor. From age 13, I helped support my family. When I got married at age 19, I decided that nothing was going to stop me from being successful in life and in selling insurance.

I have had many successes and failures in my life! And I have learned from all of them. I am a success today in my insurance sales career because I never gave up. I kept on trying no matter what happened.

One of the main reasons for my success in life is I read books by Napoleon Hill (Think and Grow Rich and others)! And I listen to tapes by Earl Nightingale (The Strangest Secret and more)!

I also attended night classes at a community college to get my associate’s degree in business. And I have taken a lot of insurance industry classes!

But the main reason for my success in life and insurance sales career, I was not afraid to seek out and ask for help from successful people.

Early in my insurance sales career, I learned that it was better to learn from successful people than to try to invent the wheel myself!

There is no question in my mind that you can be successful as you want in life and your career selling insurance! But only if you decide to put in the time and effort to make it happen.
