03/09/21 – Here is a story that we hear much too often from agents! They are neglecting their best prospects for insurance sales – their existing clients!

Last week we got a call from a financial advisor who has been in the business for over 40 years. He invested in several of our specialized marketing, leads, and sales systems back in 2012 and 2013. And he has been a member of our Insurance Marketing and Sales Resource Center off and on since then. In 2013, we worked with him to triple his income. So, he was making a significant six-figure income. And then we never heard from him.

He called us a few days ago because for the last few years his income has been slowly going down, as he is nearing his retirement! And in 2020, with covid-19, he only made a few insurance sales. So, he wanted to figure out what he should do to have a few really good years of income before he retires.

As we talked and reviewed what he was doing, it was clear that he was missing out on working with his best prospects for insurance sales – his existing clients!

These are just a few of the hundreds of ways you can help them right now. While you make a lot more insurance sales and money!

What You Can Do To Get With Your Existing Clients!

Do you feel funny contacting your existing clients, because it has been a while? Then write them a letter apologizing for not staying in contact with them. And then give them an idea of what you are doing that may help them. A week later you will want to follow up with a phone call and ask them questions about the ideas that are in the letter. Don’t make the mistake many agents make. Stay in contact with your best insurance prospects (your existing clients) and let them know you are always there to help them. (Send them your monthly client newsletter)
